Hours of Operation
The HMRU is open from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. The HMRU can be available at alternative hours and on weekends if prior arrangements are made (see Contact Us).
Directions to the HMRU
The HMRU is located on the Second Floor of Martha Van Rensselaer Hall West at Cornell University.
Arriving from off-campus
From Rte 13:
Take Rte 13N to the Pyramid Mall/North Triphammer Rd exit. Turn right and proceed 1/4 mile to the first stop sign. Turn left at the intersection, then take an immediate right onto Triphammer Rd. Proceed for 1 mile; at the first stop sign, turn left onto Wait Ave. At the next stop sign, take a left onto Thurston Ave. Go over the small bridge and turn left onto Forest Home Drive. Turn into small parking lot on the left.
From the Commons/Downtown Area:
Take 96B, East State St. to Mitchell St. Turn left onto Ithaca Rd. Follow Ithaca Rd. and turn right on 366. Follow 366 to Judd Falls Rd. Turn left and follow Judd Falls Rd. to Forest Home Rd. Turn left and follow to Toboggan Lodge Parking Lot.
Visitor Parking for Research Subjects
For research subjects who require parking for short periods of time (< 2 hours), parking is available in the Toboggan Lodge parking lot at one of the three parking spaces labeled 'FLEX PARKING'. A representative of the research study will be waiting with a FLEX Parking permit and will act as escort to the HMRU.
