Selection Tips
Fresh, crisp and clean leaves, that are free of blemishes and are a healthy green color. Smaller leaves are more tender and milder in flavor.

Best Way to Store
Use fresh or refrigerate unwashed in a damp paper towel and place in plastic bag.

How to Prepare
Wash leaves and stems to remove dirt by swirling in cool water. Use raw in salads or cook quickly to preserve color, nutrients, and prevent release of odorous compounds. If cooked blanch, braise, saute, simmer, or steam.
