Selection Tips
Select fruit that is round with colors that vary from deep yellow to slightly red. Nectarine has a fresh, sweet aroma and is soft enough to yield from slight pressure.
Best Way to Store
Place in a closed paper bag and ripen at room temperature for two to three days. Once ripe, refrigerate up to five days. Warm to room temperature before eating.
How to Prepare
Wash by running under cold water. Slice when ready to use and squeeze with lemon or lime juice to preserve color. Use whole or sliced, raw or cooked. If cooked: broil, grill, bake, or poach.
