Best Way to Store
For short term storage for up to two weeks, cut off tops and refrigerate unwashed in plastic bag. For longer periods, bury in moist sand and keep in cool place or freeze by blanching and packing in airtight container.
How to Prepare
Scrub vegetable to remove dirt. Grate for salads, slice for dipping. If cooked boil, steam, saute, roast, puree, or bake.
