Selection Tips
Color of the fruit will vary depending on variety. Choose plump and well-colored fruit, with a fairly firm, even skin, that yields to slight pressure.

Best Way to Store
Place in a closed paper bag and ripen at room temperature for one to two days. Once ripe, refrigerate up to three days. Warm to room temperature before eating.

How to Prepare
Wash by running under cold water. Slice when ready to use and squeeze with lemon or lime juice to preserve color. Use whole or sliced, raw or cooked. If cooked: bake or poach.
