Best Way to Store
These delicate leaves are best used fresh to retain freshness. Wrap unwashed in damp towel, place in plastic bag and refrigerator for three to five days.
How to Prepare
Wash by swishing in cold water to remove dirt, trim any roots and separate leaves. Dry on paper towels. Use raw in salads or cook quickly to preserve color and nutrients. If cooking can braise, saute, simmer or steam.
